Sustainability
Operating responsibly and contributing to the circular economy are key to our environmental strategy and shared commitment to make the world a better place.
Metallus is proud to contribute to the circular economy by transforming scrap metals into valuable products. Concurrent with our firm commitment to sustainability, we prioritize the use of recycled materials in our manufacturing processes.
Over 90% of our raw materials come from recycled materials.
By embracing this recycling mindset, we not only minimize waste, we also reduce the need for virgin materials, conserving natural resources and minimizing our environmental footprint. As part of our environmental stewardship efforts, we continually strive to identify various efforts within our own operations to limit waste, reduce air and GHG emissions, optimize efficiency, and manage water responsibly.
